The strange world we call Earth

It was a rainy day in Toronto (not pizzaville) I was half baked and exhausted from work. I was over at my sweetheart's place just sitting on the couch relaxing and watching tv.

TV isn't my norm... I use to and I found at time it could make ya a mindless zombie... I prefer to be out and about on random adventures... however life can't be that way 365 days a year.

Now most of all my favorite shows are done for the season (with the expection of Trueblood) So I tend to watch lots of National Geographic and Discovery... If I'm gonna be a mindless zombie I might as well learn something.

To my surprise Discovery Channel was doing a 2 hr special on Crystal Skulls.

Me being all into paranormal and strange as if it being my most beloved hobby I never heard anything before on crystal skulls... Only reference I could think of was the latest Indiana Jones movie.

However the movie was based on the real myth of the crystal skulls.

Legends states back from the ancient mysterious world of the Mayans. Mayan's legend claims that the crystal skull was given by something alien (meaning not of this world... could be another dimension or whatever your mind can wrap around)

It's also predicted that the skulls have something to do with the end of time according to the mayan calander which ends 2012 Decemeber 12.

Its one thing to talk about crystal skulls but seeing it is quite amazing. People who have had the pleasure of finding one has bragged about mystical powers... Someone claims they predicted JFK death... and that someone was healed from blindness and cancer, others claim that it could kill with just the power of your thoughts.

My New Obession

As of lately, I feel this urge... like a niche. Something for me to fill the time, kinda more or less of a hobby. Me being the Uber geek that I am, I've decided to go back to where my roots of reading began and started to collect comics.

To be completely honest, I've really enjoy the hunt of the collecting more then boasting about my collection. For me I mainly take a look on Craigslist and see if there is anyone locally selling off there. If so I will agree to that price if its golden... or I'll still try to barter and lower it even lower.

So far along the way I've meet a few interesting sellers who were all super friendly and chatted about there favorite comic character and so on. I also usually buy them in bulk for less than a dollar each comic.. and I like the art work & Story lines.

Sounds Nerdy... but everyone gotta have something... Maybe it be shoes, watches, jewelery, music, art, make up, clothes, dolls, cards, toys.

Thus some of my collection (1 box of 5)

comfort reading

Well one lil birdy has a lil bit of time on his hands so I've decided to catch up on some reading...

however anyone that knows me will know that I'm very rarely seen behind big thick books... I like something lighter but equally entertaining... Welcome to the world of Comic Books.

It's like the comfort food you love to this day... it magically takes me back to where I was just a kid reading my first batman or spiderman comic, back then I never thought of keeping em collectibles that might be worth something. They were just a cool escape for me to read... know geeky things like spiderman doesn't shoot webs outta his arms... he's a decated scientist who built his webs slinging device (with bio degradable webs)

However, my favorite of all Titles aren't X-men or Batman (classics, yes) My favorite all time title was WHAT IF?

What if were a writers dream to come up with any alternative storyline to whatever marvel character... sometimes bring em back from the dead.. or killing off someone..

I just don't think people actually get the sleak coolness of a comic... with its great art... classic stories (which make multi millions in box offices)

Comics.. I just love em.. and recently been downloading them on Torrent files and reading every storyline imaginable.

All Day I Dream About Sex

I wasn't trying to be deep with the mindset of a man... I was just using Korn's Abbreviation on ADIDAS.

Why? you might ask... well it was due to some commercial for Adidas with this house party going on... pretty happy shinny people dancing all about... but it was the music to that commercial that I loved... I didn't do who sung it up, but with the help of my trustee iphone app "Shazam" (Not to be mistaken for my good friend Khazam) I found out it was...

Frankie Valli and the Four Season (Re-edit by some dude Pilooski).

It's an addictive catchy beat that makes me wanna groove.

Did Ya Know?

I was watching the devastating earth quake that claimed the lives of so many people.

What if someone had foreseen the earthquake and warned all the people by driving in a van with a big speaker saying.... GET OUT, LEAVE TOWN, NATURE DIASTER is coming?

Well it happened just two weeks before the massive quake and Gov't officials ignored him so being the man he was he went out on the streets to warn the public himself but was arrested for disturbing the peace and causing a riot.

Now the man says officials owe him an apology
